Code of Conduct
certified international expert in the scope of
scope of their personal certification according to ISO/IEC 17024:2012
§1 Scope of validity
(1) The scope of validity of the Code of Conduct of Certified International Experts is the scope of their personal certification by EWIVS Certification, which operates in accordance with the ISO/IEC 170124:2012 standard.
§2 Basics
(1) The Code of Conduct is based on the following requirements
- of ISO/IEC 17024:2012 in their references to certified persons
and - of the current contract for the initiation and implementation of the audit activities and on the certification with annual monitoring (audit), with all its designated documents, which EWIVS Certification updates on an ongoing basis.
(2) Normative international basis, EN 16775:2016-2 *.
§3 Competence
(1) Certified International Experts shall at all times comply with the international competence requirements of the EWIVS Certification program in their scope of application.
(2) They are obliged to fulfill these international competence requirements at all times and in all respects in terms of their abilities, skills and knowledge, but also, where necessary, in terms of their personal qualities, and to provide the required evidence of their international competence.
§4 Training and further education
(1) Certified International Experts are required to complete international training and continuing education courses that are based on the most advanced international theory and practice in the scope of their personal certification, regardless of whether the national requirements for their application already exist.
(2) The following are regarded as international training and further training certificates
- internationally experienced and internationally recognized training and further education institutions and
- by international lecturers with international experience in the theory and practice of

§5 Professional principles
(1) Certified experts shall fulfill the obligations imposed on them by
- international and national laws,
- international and national standards and
- Membership in international and national organizations and professional associations
The auditors must comply with the professional principles set out in the scope of their personal certification in accordance with this Code of Conduct.
§6 Expert activities DIN EN 16775
General requirements for expert services
The requirements for expert services in accordance with EN 16775:2015 relate to services in the expert and expert witness sector.
These are taken into account in the examination for EWIVS Certification as a Personally Certified Expert in accordance with EN ISO 17024:2012.
The services include an assessment,
- whether technical requirements are met,
- whether services or standards are met,
- whether conflict resolution is included
- whether an appraisal is included
- whether an assessment of damage to both goods and services has been made
These requirements for expert services in accordance with EN 16775 represent the requirements profile for the qualification of experts in Europe.
